Find your flights automatically in your mailbox
In your Trein-vertraging account (app.trein-vertraging.nl) you can optionally connect Gmail or Outlook. We then find your flight booking confirmations and show them in a flight overview in your account.
Why do we ask for mailbox access?
Flight number, date, times and airports are only in the body of booking e-mails, so we need read access to find them. We only request it when you click connect.
What we do and don't do
- Read-only access (Gmail: gmail.readonly, Outlook: Mail.Read).
- We only search for e-mails that look like flight bookings: airline senders or words like booking confirmation in the subject.
- We read those e-mails with fixed rules: no AI and no third parties.
- We keep only what is needed to show your flights.
- Tokens and any stored text are encrypted.
- We never send, change or delete e-mails.
- We don't sell anything, show no ads based on your mail and never use your mail to train AI.
How to stop
You can disconnect at any time in your profile. You can also revoke access via myaccount.google.com/permissions or in your Microsoft account settings. Delete your account and we remove everything.
Trein-vertraging's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
